To take driving lessons you will have to be a minimum age of 16 and have a provisional driving license. Also, make sure you are aware of the eyesight requirements. If you need glasses or contact lenses to meet the requirements you must make sure you wear them every time you drive.

   As part of your test the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) have recently introduced thirteen questions to the practical car test. In the beginning of your test you will be asked two of these questions. If answered incorrectly you will be added two driver faults to your test report (16 of these can result in a fail!). You can find these questions on the DSA website.

   Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads.

Pass plus consists of six modules;

 driving in town

 driving in all weathers

 driving on rural roads

 driving at night

 driving on dual carriageways

 driving on motorways

Anyone who holds a full UK licence is eligible to take part in the scheme. You will not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be continually assessed. You must successfully complete all the modules in the course to an achieved or exceeded standard.

   On successful completion of your course you will receive a certificate from the DSA. You are now elligible for reduced insurance, up to 30% off!
